Key Responsibilities

As a Digital News Producer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategizing, managing, and executing compelling social media campaigns for breaking news stories.
  • Demonstrating the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced newsroom.
  • Utilizing analytics tools to inform decision-making and enhance content performance.
  • Understanding diverse audiences and adapting content for various digital and social platforms.
  • Editing video content using Adobe Premiere.
  • Exhibiting a strong sense of visual storytelling.
  • Ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and impartiality in all work produced.
  • Developing and executing editorial strategies for special report campaigns that highlight investigative and explanatory journalism.
  • Managing daily editorial oversight of TRSS social media platforms, including LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, X, Instagram, WhatsApp, and YouTube, tailoring content for different channels.
  • Monitoring news feeds for urgent updates and ensuring rapid dissemination of breaking news content.
  • Recommending strategies for performance enhancement and setting targets to boost engagement.
  • Overseeing content delivery across platforms, ensuring accuracy and prompt corrections when necessary.
  • Tracking and analyzing social media performance using various analytical tools.
