About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Dixie Dundas Dentistry. As an Administrative Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional support to our staff and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Review and evaluate existing procedures to ensure they are effective and compliant with regulations
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
  • Carry out administrative activities, including data entry and inventory management
  • Administer policies and procedures related to record release and government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, equipment, and supplies
  • Train staff on new procedures and technologies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and electronic mail
  • Knowledge of government access to information and privacy legislation
