We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Discount Trucking & Construction Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Documentation: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Truck Driver is an asset.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, and the ability to work independently.
