Job Summary:

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Care Representative to join our team. As a U-Box Customer Care Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up storage containers, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth delivery experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a flatbed truck and transport storage containers to and from customers' homes and local businesses
  • Load and unload storage containers using an 8000lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to customers, ensuring a positive experience
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple deliveries and pickups in a day

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 3 or D Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Clean motor vehicle driving record

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
