About the Role

Xpress Print N Signs Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Design Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior designers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality visual designs that meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and guide junior graphic designers and graphic arts technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to produce exceptional designs.
  • Design Estimation: Accurately estimate the time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
  • Storyboard Development: Collaborate with the design team to develop engaging storyboards for multimedia, interactive, and digital products, as well as television advertising and productions.
  • Design Creation: Produce 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations that meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  • Production Coordination: Oversee all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, and electronic materials, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their visual design requirements, establishing the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
  • Design Development: Determine the most suitable medium and vehicle for communication, developing graphic elements that meet clients' objectives and exceed their expectations.
  • Guidelines and Standards: Establish guidelines for illustrators and photographers, ensuring consistency and quality in all design outputs.
  • Design Preparation: Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements that meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  • Resource Utilization: Effectively utilize existing photo and illustration banks, typography guides, and other design resources to ensure efficient and high-quality design production.

  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Work Hours: Work a standard 30-35 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
