We are seeking a highly skilled Agronomist I to join our team. As an Agronomist I, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and potential customers by gaining an understanding of their business and operations.
- Provide agronomic advice and support to customers on seed, fertilizer, weed, disease, and insect control, and obtain feedback from available resources to make informed recommendations.
- Offer timely crop scouting services, analyzing and providing recommendations to customers.
- Attend growers' meetings and training with the Agronomy team to stay up-to-date on the latest industry developments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Accurately record purchases, deliveries, and inventory changes in Tronia.
- Assist with information meetings and tours for customers using supplier support.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or diploma in Agriculture.
- 1-3 years of agronomy and/or relevant experience.
- A Class 5 driver's license.
- The capacity to provide outstanding customer service and build customer relationships.
- A comprehensive understanding of agronomy and agricultural products.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex issues and finding creative solutions.
