Job Title: Warehouse Receiver

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Receiver to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and storage of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and Verify Incoming Goods: Carefully inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain Internal Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal records of inventory, including receipts, shipments, and stock levels.
  • Route Goods to Storage: Route goods to the appropriate storage areas, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
  • Unpack and Sort Goods: Unpack and sort incoming goods, affixing identifying information and shipping instructions as required.
  • Provide Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in inventory control software and MS Excel.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with dollies, hand trucks, and pallet lifters.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, withstanding physical demands, including bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
