Position Overview:

As a key member of our Agro team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • **Transaction Management** – Handling customer transactions efficiently through our Point-of-Sale system.
  • **Yard Operations** – Assisting with customer orders, operating forklifts, and managing propane dispensing.
  • **Inventory Management** – Unloading shipments, stocking shelves, and maintaining product displays in both the store and yard.
  • **General Maintenance** – Performing housekeeping duties and following opening and closing protocols.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about customer service and have an interest in working within a hardware and agricultural environment. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid class 5 driver's license.
  • Minimum age of 16 years.
  • Willingness to obtain a Power Mobile Equipment Certificate (training provided).
  • Commitment to acquiring a Propane Dispenser Certificate.
  • Previous retail experience in customer service, agricultural products, point of sale operations, and merchandising.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 60 lbs, climb ladders, and kneel as required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A strong sense of integrity, reliability, and a results-driven mindset.
  • A collaborative spirit, valuing diverse perspectives to achieve common goals.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Agro Manager.
