Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at 24/7 Quality Home & Health Care Services Ltd. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Medications and ensure accurate dosing and administration.
  • Apply Aseptic Techniques to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infection.
  • Conduct Specimen Collection and prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Monitor Nutritional Intake and provide guidance on healthy eating habits.
  • Observe and Record Medication Side Effects and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Prepare Patients for Surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas.
  • Record Medication Side Effects and observations in patient files.
  • Take Vital Signs and monitor patient progress.
  • Provide Technical Assistance to surgeons and medical teams during procedures.
  • Clean and Sterilize Equipment and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide Pre-Operative and Post-Operative Care to patients.
  • Monitor Established Respiratory Therapy and IV Therapy and adjust as needed.
  • Provide Nursing Services within the defined scope of practice and consult with the healthcare team as needed.
  • Monitor Patient Progress and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions.
Requirements
  • CPR Certificate and current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Excellent Communication Skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual Dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and commitments.
  • Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills.
