Oversee a range of transportation and traffic planning initiatives, including traffic assessments, parking evaluations, road safety reviews, signage and pavement marking assessments, community traffic management, and transportation demand strategies. Assist Dillon's top technical professionals in executing projects for diverse public and private sector clients. Offer specialized knowledge on various projects as part of interdisciplinary teams (comprising planners, project engineers, environmental specialists, and technologists). Participate in proposal development and support other marketing and administrative activities.Professional Growth & Development
Dedicate yourself to personal growth and continuous professional education. Aid in the career advancement of junior staff through technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship. A degree in civil engineering or urban planning, or a diploma in civil engineering technology with a focus on transportation. Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. Licensed to practice in Ontario as a Professional Engineer, Registered Professional Planner, or Certified Engineering Technologist, or eligible for licensure within six months.Desired Experience
The ideal candidate should exhibit a strong interest and expertise in some or all of the following areas:
Transportation impact assessments. Parking analysis. Road safety evaluations. Traffic calming initiatives. Warrant assessments for traffic control measures. Proficient in intersection performance software such as Synchro and SIDRA. Knowledge of active transportation and transportation demand management (TDM) programs. Skilled in AutoCAD.
