About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Clerk to join our team at Davidson Contract Services. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of parts and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Identify, label, and catalogue items received, and maintain accurate records on our inventory control system.
  • Parts and Supplies Distribution: Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use, and prepare requisition orders to replenish stock.
  • Warehouse Operations: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials, and store items in a safe and organized manner.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize inventory control software to manage and track inventory levels, and maintain accurate records.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including booking appointments and ordering stock as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the trucking industry and inventory control software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and a strong team player attitude.
