Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our IT team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, risk management, and security policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business sponsors, project sponsors, and team members.
  • Provide regular project status updates, including progress, issues, and risks.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, financial, and operational risks.
  • Develop and implement project metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on complex projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Proven experience with project management tools, including JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
