We're seeking a seasoned Director of Engineering to help us continue to build world-class tools for our doctors and medical professionals. We're looking for a strategic, purpose-driven leader who can provide innovative solutions to complex problems and help define the roadmap for the future and scalability of our platform.

As the Director of Engineering at Fullscript, you will be responsible for technical decision-making and architecture for a group of Product teams that work on our practitioner experience. You will work closely with other Technical Leaders, engineers, and cross-functional teams to solve the problems of a quickly evolving platform with ever-growing demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the overall technical vision, planning, and design architecture for 3-5 of our engineering pods.
  • Collaborate with product and design leaders to push forward Fullscript's product vision and strategy.
  • Support and grow a team of technical leads and their teammates, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Work with other engineering leaders to establish best practices and improve how our teams work, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Support executives with growth initiatives while maintaining the technical health of the application, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Collaboratively build the technical roadmap with other technical leaders to ensure that Fullscript can continue to scale and meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Requirements
  • Experience leading engineering teams responsible for customer-facing applications, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience leading and growing other technical leaders, with a focus on developing their skills and expertise.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with other product management, design, and data leaders, with a strong understanding of cross-functional teamwork.
  • Experience working in a continuous integration environment, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Experience working in e-commerce or the health-tech sector, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
