**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage and coordinate integrated BMA releases, ensuring timely and successful deployment of applications
* Plan and schedule integrated BMA changes in pre-production and production environments
* Apply and advocate for BMA Release Management best practices, ensuring governance and processes are embedded within
* Monitor and drive readiness of BMA teams for release deliverables, from planning to product
* Measure and identify opportunities and deficiencies in processes to support driving improvements of Release practices
* Responsible for continuous improvements for release deployment practices and process
* Track release health during the release cycle with BMA Release and QA team for each release
* Responsible for communications of all release activities
* Assess and review all impacts, risks, dependencies, and critical path of releases in collaboration with BMA teams

**Release Manager Responsibilities**

* Planning, coordinating, managing, and tracking the release of deliverables of multiple projects in scheduled releases
* Tracking, identifying, communicating, and coordinating all release-related tasks between different teams of defect backlogs and planned release scope
* Tracking, identifying, and reporting on risks, impacts, dependencies, and critical path of release deliverables, to ensure quality of release is not impacted
* Tracking, conducting reviews, assessments, and managing release change control process, to ensure release schedule, quality, risks, and impacts are controlled
* Tracking and driving domain teams in providing on-time defect resolution within the SLA criteria set for releases, while supporting and ensuring quality management team in achieving planned test strategy for the release
* Escalating and reporting project and backlog that do not meet readiness criteria which impact release schedule and quality
* Create, maintain, and publish all release documentation
* Collaborating and driving BMA teams during release technical meetings, host triage war rooms for issue management, in collaboration with BMA teams
* Hosting and communicating outcomes/outputs of release meetings and sessions (daily stand-ups, release technical meetings, triage war rooms for issue management, planning sessions, etc.)

**Release Manager Must Have Skills**

* Project Management of IT projects and integrated applications
* Program or Technical portfolio management of integrated IT projects and applications
* Software Development Life Cycle and Software Test Life Cycle Delivery and support experience
* Familiar with Agile methodologies
* Familiar with ITIL processes and best practices and associated tools (ServiceNow, Jira or similar)
