Kitchen Assistant

We are a dynamic coffee shop looking for a reliable and team-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all food preparation and cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
- Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation tasks, including peeling, slicing, and trimming foodstuffs, as well as washing and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of in a responsible manner.
- Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
As a Kitchen Assistant at The Daily Roast, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure to meet the demands of a busy coffee shop.
