About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Twenty Two Taphouse Ltd. DBA Twenty Two Taphouse. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, receiving and storing supplies, and assisting with food preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Housekeeping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
  • The kitchen environment can be fast-paced, requiring the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic setting.
Personal Suitability
  • We are looking for a reliable team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with our kitchen staff.
  • Work Terms: This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week.
