Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency team at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Completion of a recognized advanced program in emergency care nursing or two (2) years' recent, related experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
