Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory levels within the DC by conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve existing inventory processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the IC team to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide training on inventory procedures.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on inventory levels, movement, and discrepancies to inform business decisions.
- Leadership and Development: Mentor and train associates on inventory procedures and best practices.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve inventory-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all inventory movements are accurately scanned and recorded using RF scan guns.
- Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and procedures.
- Experience: Previous experience operating a Raymond Reach Truck or Crown Reach Truck is mandatory.
- Certifications: A valid forklift certificate is necessary.
- Leadership and Training: Leadership or training experience is an asset.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills are required.
- Work Ethic and Motivation: Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Collaborative team player with creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
This role will operate Sunday to Thursday, from 1pm until 10pm, with additional overtime as required. The warehouse temperature is variable depending on seasonal conditions. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of heavy product weighing 50-60 lbs, along with spending prolonged periods on your feet, is required.
Compensation and BenefitsCompensation Range is $22.00-$25.00 per hour. Avanti Software Inc. offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
