Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Pension and Benefits Manager to oversee our comprehensive pension and benefits offerings.

As an integral part of the Human Resource Management team, the Pension and Benefits Manager will play a vital role in shaping and executing the organization's HR strategies. This position is essential for the coordination and administration of the company's pension and benefits framework, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and regulations. The focus will be on optimizing program costs for both the organization and its employees, while enhancing the overall employee experience to foster engagement and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, implement, and oversee pension and benefits programs for all divisions within the Brandt network, including program evaluation, market analysis, and administration.
  2. Establish operational procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  3. Ensure that benefit plans and adjudication processes are executed in accordance with established guidelines and provisions.
  4. Maintain accurate benefit records by developing effective recordkeeping systems and generating benefit reports.
  5. Conduct quality assurance reviews of benefits-related data to ensure the integrity of our records.
  6. Assist in strategic decision-making by analyzing benefit options and forecasting future costs and opportunities.
  7. Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve service delivery and refine processes.
  8. Ensure adherence to regulatory standards related to pension and benefits programs, assessing the impact of regulatory changes and recommending necessary adjustments.
  9. Provide expert advice and support to Senior Management on program-related issues, identifying critical challenges and opportunities; lead or contribute to initiatives as required, offering specialized knowledge in relevant areas.
  10. Oversee reporting staff, including recruitment, development, coaching, performance management, and work assignment/review.
  11. Ensure comprehensive cross-training for staff members.
  12. Perform additional duties as required.
