We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority.
Job Summary:The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary health team to provide high-quality patient care. This includes conducting patient interviews, physical assessments, and taking medical histories, as well as preparing treatment plans and collaborating with physicians and other medical practitioners.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to provide patient care
- Conduct patient interviews, physical assessments, and take medical histories
- Prepare treatment plans for each patient
- Order medical diagnostic or clinical tests
- Examine patients and consult with physicians and other medical practitioners
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
- Experience in a healthcare setting an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
