Construction Worker Opportunity

Company: GHOLIA CONSTRUCTION INC.

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks essential to the construction process.

  • Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Candidates should have between 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Work Environment: The position requires working outdoors in various conditions, including heights, underground, and confined spaces. Expect exposure to noisy, dusty, and hot environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport and handle construction materials efficiently.
  • Maintain and service cranes and other machinery.
  • Construct and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, and barricades.
  • Prepare and apply materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist with drilling and blasting operations on site.
  • Support the framing of structures, including walls and roofs.
  • Ensure proper grading of earth to meet specifications.
  • Assist in asphalt paving and raking activities.
  • Participate in building demolition tasks.
  • Organize and clean salvaged materials.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Manage chemical spills and contaminants safely.
  • Clear debris and rubble from construction sites.
  • Operate machinery and equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic safely around construction zones.
