Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled General Construction Supervisor to join our team at ROO Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule construction activities to meet project deadlines
  • Establish and implement effective methods to manage work schedules and resources
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 workers and projects, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
Work Environment

As a General Construction Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and manage resources effectively. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and work in a dusty environment.
