About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director, Partner Relations to join our growing Partner Relations team at ApplyBoard. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and driving growth in the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Develop and implement departmental vision, operating principles, strategy, approach, and performance goals, in alignment with ApplyBoard's goal alignment methodology.
  2. Lead High-Performance Teams: Attract, develop, engage, coach, and retain a team of experienced Partner Relations Managers in Canada.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work in collaboration with the rest of the Partner Relations Team, act as a key stakeholder and consultant in customer experience initiatives across the company, advising on prioritization and design, and measuring outcomes.
  4. Expand Partnerships and Market Share: Expand partnerships and market share within Canada, both in terms of the number of partners and the collaboration with existing partners.
  5. Develop Creative Solutions: Develop creative solutions around challenges and issues both internally and externally.
  6. Act as Subject Matter Expert: Act as a subject matter expert to support institutions with internalization strategies and strategic enrollment planning.
  7. Elevate ApplyBoard's Brand: Elevate ApplyBoard's brand and reputation in Canada, positioning the company as a leader in the space.
  8. Lead Go-to-Market Strategies: Lead the introduction and sales efforts of new products and services, including SAAS-based and other technology-based solutions.
Requirements
  1. 10+ Years of Post-Degree Experience
  2. 7+ Years of Progressive Management/Leadership Experience in International Education
  3. 5+ Years of Team Management Experience
  4. 2+ Years of Experience in Contract Review and Negotiation
  5. Leadership and Communication Skills
