Job Overview

Rainbow Concrete Industries Ltd. is seeking a dedicated **Concrete Production Machine Operator** to join our team. This role involves operating specialized machinery to produce high-quality concrete products.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to **noisy** conditions.
  • Working in areas with **odours** and **dust**.
  • Tasks may be performed in **hot** environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Construct clay models and molds for casting concrete products.
  • Utilize blade or wire saws to cut stone blocks to precise dimensions.
  • Document manufacturing details such as quantity, size, and type of products produced.
  • Set up and operate automatic machines for mixing ingredients and extruding clay mixtures.
  • Adjust and operate single-function machines for mixing, drilling, grinding, and cutting concrete.
  • Build and repair wooden frames for molding concrete products.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products.
  • Operate machinery to grind and polish stone surfaces to achieve desired shapes and finishes.
  • Perform ongoing adjustments to machinery as needed.
  • Fill molds with concrete and operate kilns for baking clay products.
  • Drill holes in stone blocks or slabs according to specifications.
Physical Demands
  • Role is **physically demanding** requiring attention to detail.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling tasks.
  • Overtime may be required.
Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are mandatory.
