Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Production Machine Operator to join our team at Rainbow Concrete Industries Ltd.. This role involves operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality concrete products.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to noisy conditions.
  • Potential for odours and dirt.
  • Work in a dusty and hot environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Construct clay models and molds for casting concrete products.
  • Utilize blade or wire saws to cut stone blocks to specified dimensions.
  • Document manufacturing details including quantity, size, and type of products produced.
  • Set up and operate automated machines for mixing ingredients and shaping clay mixtures.
  • Adjust and operate single-function machines for mixing, drilling, grinding, and cutting concrete.
  • Build and repair wooden frames for molding concrete products.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products.
  • Operate machinery to grind and polish stone surfaces to achieve desired shapes and finishes.
  • Perform ongoing adjustments to machinery as needed.
  • Fill molds with concrete and operate kilns for baking clay products.
  • Drill holes in stone blocks or slabs according to specifications.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods and perform bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Overtime may be required.
Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are necessary.
