About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Empire Framing Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of other team members
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in framing and carpentry
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
