Aircraft Avionics Specialist

At Groupe SII, we are seeking a highly skilled Cabin Engineer to join our team. As a Cabin Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our avionics systems on aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Avionics System Oversight: Supervise the work package of an avionic supplier per aircraft, serving as a single point of contact for production line and logistics teams, as well as engineering teams of the customer.
- Task Input and Coordination: Input tasks into various On-site Support areas, including engineering, work preparation, logistics, and LMC.
- Work Tracking and Documentation: Record, track, and document all open and completed work per aircraft for supplier components.
- Customer Query Resolution: Receive customer queries, drive problem-solving with Client, OSS production, and home-based design office, ensuring timely completion of all work, including subsequent deliveries to the A/C in production.
- Single Point of Contact: Serve as a single point of contact for inquiries, recurring complaints, damages, meetings, and other activities.
- Issue Resolution: Develop solutions for issues, damages, etc., concerning supplier products.
- Team Development: Develop the Supplier On-site support team in Montreal, creating standards and processes to support BOMBARDIER Production when issues or activities related to supplier Parts on the Aircraft arise.
- Team Management: Manage different teams involved in supplier products, planning, validating engineering, and coordinating reworks at Bombardier to ensure supplier parts meet engineering and standard documents.
- System Involvement: Be involved and support activities in different systems of the A/C simultaneously (Mechanical, Electric, Interiors).
- Timely Problem-Solving: Solve problems in a timely manner and manage every issue properly, aligning with different teams (suppliers).
- Go and See Activities: Participate in Go and See activities at A/C and challenge liability of reworks for parts damaged by partner installations (BA Quality and Union Issues).
Requirements:
- Production and Reworking Procedures: Knowledge of production and reworking procedures.
- Document Handling: Safe handling of construction documents and production orders (drawing reading).
- Language Skills: Very good French and English skills, both spoken and written; German is a plus.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work on weekends (on-call).
- Communication Skills: Very good communication skills, resilience, and high flexibility.
