Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years and less than 3 years in a similar role.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Exposure to dusty conditions and outdoor environments.
- Conduct tests on electrical and electronic equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, installations, and testing of switchgear, transformers, and other electrical components.
- Oversee the upkeep of electrical motors, generators, and control systems.
- Manage inventory of materials and components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with industrial electrical and electronic systems.
- Interpret and apply electrical code specifications.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs and maintain detailed records.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics for electrical installations.
Willingness to travel as needed for various projects.
Physical Demands- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to distinguish colors and perform repetitive tasks.
- Physical capability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
- Demonstrated accuracy and client-focused approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
