Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Elements Casino Victoria. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and document security incidents, including violations, unsafe conditions, and suspicious activities
  • Enforce restricted access to unauthorized persons and maintain a secure environment
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility interior and exterior to prevent and detect security breaches
  • Escort guests and team members as required and perform identification checks
  • Refer disputes to the Supervisor, Security and perform crowd control as directed
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with operational departments to ensure a safe and welcoming work environment
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience
  • Serving it Right Certificate
  • Guard Force Training an asset
  • Occupational First Aid Level 2 Certificate an asset
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License

Work Environment

This is a regular casino environment with non-traditional work hours, requiring standing and walking for long periods of time.
