Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Tour Guide (Chief Experience Officer) to join our team in Oman. As a Tour Guide, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing leadership and guidance to our travelers, and creating unforgettable experiences in vibrant and exciting destinations.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and traveler well-being.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our travelers, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
  • Stay up-to-date on local culture, history, and current events to provide insightful and engaging commentary.
  • Develop and maintain a network of local contacts and resources to enhance the travel experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily expenditure accounts and trip notes.
  • Assist with training and development of new Tour Guides, sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Collaborate with regional offices and the Toronto headquarters to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Valid Guiding License and First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Passion for adventure travel and a genuine love for exploring new destinations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Resourcefulness and adaptability, with a calm and collected demeanor under pressure.
  • Commitment to sustainable tourism and environmentally responsible practices.
  • Good health and high energy level, with the ability to handle physically demanding situations.
  • First Aid/CPR Certification and basic accounting/budgeting skills.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
