About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Kal Tire. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and intricate repairs on compact cars and busy light-duty fleets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general mechanical services on multiple vehicles, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to identify potential mechanical opportunities.
  • Assist in mentoring apprentices and nurturing the future generation of mechanics.
  • Contribute to the development of our mechanical program.
  • Participate in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout the day.
Requirements
  • Certified with an Automotive Service Technician 310S.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment.
  • Skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service, and repair on a wide variety of vehicles.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
