Job Title: Transportation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Supervisor to join our team at B Town Carrier Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transportation department, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of transportation staff, including drivers and dispatchers.
  • Monitor and control the movement of vehicles and cargo, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to transportation staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of improving transportation efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in a fast-paced transportation environment.
  • May be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • May be required to travel to various locations.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation management or a related field.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 30-35 hours per week.
