Job Summary:

The Certified Rehab Assistant plays a vital role in providing exceptional client care under the guidance of professional staff. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver client-related services within the Rehabilitation Program, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Contribute to non-client care functions aimed at enhancing the program's effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Comply with Occupational Health and Safety standards and promote a safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of recent related healthcare experience.
  • Relevant training or experience in rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of safe lifting, transfer, and ambulating techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks.

Education and/or Certification:

  • Certified Rehabilitation Assistant certificate or equivalent.
  • CPR certification required; BCLS preferred.
