Columbia Dungeness Crab Limited is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, organized, reliable, team player, and good time management skills.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
