About the Role

Curling Canada is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Youth Engagement Coordinator. This role will play a key part in growing the game of curling at the youth level, engaging families through sport awareness and participation experiences, and creating meaningful opportunities through curling for young Canadians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively plan and execute Sport for Life Youth Engagement Initiatives (YEI) for 3 annual events, 4 in a Curling Trials year.
  • Manage registrations, coordinate digital ads/outreach, participant/stakeholder communications, and order supplies and coordinate shipping/delivery.
  • Work onsite for 1-2 events (volunteers, set up, tear down, stocking, equipment).
  • Support YEI legacy impacts, including post-event wrap up activities, transitional participant/stakeholder communications, and support pilot programs for continued engagement post the Sport for Life events.
  • Nationally support Curling Canada's Manager, Youth Development, including receipts/payouts, storytelling/testimonials, and overseeing registration process.
  • Coordinate digital ads/outreach, ordering supplies, and invoicing (with accounting help).
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Actively contributes to a positive and cohesive working culture.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is a definite asset.
  • Ability to travel periodically throughout the events season.
