Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Construction Management Intern. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and apply your skills in construction management, working closely with experienced engineers and professionals in the field.

McNally Tunneling Corporation, a subsidiary of Weeks Marine Inc., is a leading heavy/civil construction company specializing in large diameter tunneling and underground construction. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects, including field engineering, operation planning, cost control, and project scheduling.
  • Perform engineering tasks, such as quantity tracking, material procurement, and contract administration.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to facilitate the handling and expediting delivery of materials.
  • Estimate costs for large-scale projects and use various software, including Hard Dollar, AutoCAD, P6, and InRoads.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to travel or relocate as needed.
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to take initiative, and a demonstrated passion for excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Functional knowledge of English (written and verbal) is considered an asset.
