As a Senior Audit Group Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing a team of audit professionals to supervise, plan, and execute intricate audits and projects across various business units.
  • Offering strategic insights and facilitating critical audit discussions with senior executives.
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership to achieve operational results and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Acting as the primary audit advisor by delivering insights on emerging trends and issues to senior leadership, fostering meaningful enhancements.
  • Identifying, mitigating, and reporting risk issues in accordance with established guidelines and ensuring proper escalation processes are adhered to.
  • Ensuring alignment of the developed strategy with the overall audit strategy and overseeing its implementation.
  • Formulating the annual divisional plan for the risk assessment process while leading audit engagement activities.
  • Overseeing all activities, providing recommendations and decision support to leadership.
  • Serving as a strategic advisor to leadership regarding portfolio and financial management.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders to prioritize portfolios based on forecasting initiatives and demand.
  • Leading the team in the development and cohesive implementation of policies, processes, procedures, and changes across multiple audit domains.
  • Exercising people management leadership by administering performance management activities.
  • Fostering a positive and diverse work environment where team members can openly discuss their challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of relevant experience, complemented by an undergraduate degree or pertinent professional certifications.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of AML/Sanctions program requirements.
  • Expertise in external competition, industry, and market trends related to the functional area.
  • Proficient in handling confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Strong skills in MS Office, analytical tools, and internet applications.
  • Adept negotiator and decision-maker capable of influencing business leaders.
  • A dynamic leader who collaborates effectively and communicates with clarity.
