Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Infrastructure Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating work activities, interpreting contractual agreements, scheduling subcontractor tasks, and guaranteeing that all work adheres to specified standards.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain strict adherence to performance benchmarks and quality control measures.
- Conduct thorough assessments of various infrastructure components, including pavements, signage, guardrails, and more.
- Provide guidance and oversight to patrol staff, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
- Effectively manage the procurement of supplies and coordinate staff training programs to ensure ongoing skill development.
- Investigate and prepare comprehensive reports on accidents or incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrate a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in construction or road maintenance operations.
- Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Work Environment
This position requires a combination of office and field work. You will be regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions and may occasionally encounter chemicals or high noise levels. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds is essential.
