Job Summary:

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join their team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Data Management: Classify financial codes and expenditure codes accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data, preparing necessary documents and reports as required.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate statements and reports using various financial sources, providing insights to management and stakeholders.
  • Account Reconciliation: Assist with general ledger account reconciliation and month-end closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Invoice Management: Handle A/P invoice matching and filing, vendor invoices, and A/R processes, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Financial Data Entry: Post financial data to journals and ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • Financial Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with spreadsheets and ERP systems.
  • Financial Knowledge: Understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
  • Communication Skills: Strong multitasking and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Education: Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent data entry abilities and proficiency in financial software applications.
