About the Role

Melnex Enterprises Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, including portioning and wrapping foods, and packaging take-out food.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas, as well as wash and polish floors.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by replenishing condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a Food Safety Certificate and a Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Equipment Experience: Have experience operating conventional ovens, deep fryers, food dispensers, and grills.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess excellent attention to detail, be a team player, and have the ability to multitask.
