Job SummaryWe are currently recruiting a Residential Healthcare Professional to join our care team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exemplary client care and services while leading other members of the team to do the same.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, document, and direct client needs in consultation with internal staff, Director of Care, and other medical/healthcare professionals.
- Work with management and healthcare service teams to promote communication and compliance of policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of client care plans as per company policy and scope of practice.
- Apply dressings and treatments according to physician's orders and policy.
- Assist with supervision and evaluation of job performance and behavior of other healthcare staff.
- Promote client-directed care, self-care, and independence through teaching and encouragement.
- Current Registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (CLPNNL).
- Physical Assessment, Palliative/Hospice Care experience preferred.
- Previous experience working in a senior's independent living environment and/or long-term care preferred.
- Alzheimer's and/or other Dementia Care courses are considered an asset.
- Evening and weekend work required.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Applicable Medical Immunizations.

- Job Type: Full-time.
