Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and psycho-social recovery of our clients. Your expertise will be integral in helping our clients achieve their goals and regain independence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess client's physical and/or cognitive functioning within the clinic setting, utilizing a range of assessments including job demands analyses, functional capacity evaluations, and cognitive abilities evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning, ensuring clients receive the best possible care.
  • Educate clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Support return-to-work programs, providing job coaching and accommodation recommendations to facilitate successful reintegration into the workforce.
  • Utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions, submitting reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management, collaborating with the inter-professional team to ensure seamless care.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance client outcomes.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy students, providing guidance and mentorship to support their professional development.
  • Network with stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programs, fostering strong relationships and advancing our mission.
  • Manage caseload in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of responsibilities.
