Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital (OSMH) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Primary Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and research to support the needs of our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct clinical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in education and research activities to advance the field of primary care.
- Supervise and precept nursing students and other interdisciplinary students as required.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- BScN degree required, with a Master's degree in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner Stream preferred.
- Minimum three years' experience in advanced practice nursing in primary care.
- Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A professional practice environment with a collaborative atmosphere and emphasis on teamwork.
