Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering an exceptional culinary experience to our guests and residents in alignment with our commitment to Service Beyond.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times while on duty.
  • Familiarizing oneself with the menu and ingredients to provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Ensuring that food is served at the correct temperature and in a timely manner.
  • Promoting daily specials and premium options to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicating with the Food and Beverage production team regarding orders and guest requests.
  • Performing efficiently in a fast-paced environment while ensuring timely delivery of orders.
  • Accurately processing payments and operating the point of sale system.
  • Addressing guest complaints or concerns promptly, escalating to a supervisor or manager when necessary.
  • Ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked prior to the start of each shift.
  • Preparing tables for guest arrivals to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across departments to enhance the overall guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work on weekends is essential.
  • Flexibility to serve in both Stoney's and Market outlets.
  • A diploma or degree in hospitality is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality sector is preferred.
  • Eligibility to work full-time in Canada is required.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with restaurant point of sale systems is beneficial.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs.
