Key Responsibilities:
- Train and develop a team of produce staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Schedule and manage the produce department to meet business needs, ensuring that we are always stocked with fresh and high-quality products.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner, resolving issues promptly and fairly.
- Ensure that all health and safety policies are followed, and that our store meets the highest standards of food safety and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities, using this knowledge to make informed decisions about our produce offerings and promotions.
- Receiving, storing, and handling of products to ensure efficient and effective results.
- Ensure proper product rotation and signage to enhance sales and profits.
- Accountability for store in the absence of the Franchisee, including key carrying and alarm responsibilities.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of management experience in a fresh department (produce, meat, deli, bakery).
- Demonstrated understanding of critical success factors for the No Frills concept, including low price image and customer focus.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage people and work with minimal functional direction.
- Solid knowledge of all aspects of the produce area, operations, and products.
- Open availability and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays according to the needs of the business.
