About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Expert to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Customer Communications Composition team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our business by analyzing and improving our business processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Customer Communications Composition team by analyzing and improving business processes and systems.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with rapidly changing technological trends and maintain an understanding of the Division's business and technology strategies.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or technical equivalent.
  • 10+ years of Business Technical/System Analyst experience.
  • 3+ years of configuration/support experience with OpenText Exstream.
  • 3+ years of experience with Data Modeling, Data Mapping, and creating Data Dictionaries.
  • 3+ years of Agile Scrum experience.
  • 5+ years of combined experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and MS Office suite or equivalent tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and client relation skills.
