Job Title: Community Mental Health Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Mental Health Worker to join our team at JAZ Community Support Limited. As a Community Mental Health Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to individuals with mental health disabilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing life skills workshops, assessing client needs, and implementing individualized plans to promote independence and well-being. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and have excellent interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports and case histories to document client progress and needs
  • Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Implement life skills workshops to promote client independence and well-being
  • Assess client needs and develop individualized plans to address their goals and objectives
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support
  • Provide support and guidance to clients with special needs
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • First Aid and CPR certification
