Director of Ecommerce

**About the Role**

We are seeking a seasoned Ecommerce Director to lead and grow our online sales channel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the ecommerce roadmap, driving online revenue and profitability, and optimizing the customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage the revenue, expenses, and profitability of the online business
* Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability, aligning with our overall business objectives
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the ecommerce platform, including site updates, promotions, and customer service
* Build and lead a high-performing ecommerce team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
* Function as the primary point of contact, primary administrator, and internal expert of the ecommerce strategy and systems
* Optimize the customer journey and user experience to improve conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value
* Collaborate with the marketing team to drive traffic and conversion through paid and organic channels
* Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to ensure smooth operation of the ecommerce business
* Integrate and reinforce data-driven decision making

**Requirements**

* 5+ years of experience in ecommerce, preferably in a senior leadership role
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
* Extensive ecommerce experience, including management of large-scale ecommerce platforms resulting in an increase in customer lifetime value and revenue for the company
* Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to drive business decisions
