A & W CARDSTON is seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in a culinary role is an asset.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced food service setting and must be willing to relocate if necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety protocols.
- Order and manage kitchen supplies and equipment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and assist in their development.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of food and supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
- Recruit and hire new kitchen staff as needed.
- Organize and manage buffets and special events.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency.
This role involves supervising general cooking staff and ensuring adherence to culinary standards.
Travel RequirementsWillingness to travel may be required for this position.
