A & W CARDSTON is seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to oversee kitchen operations and ensure the highest quality of food preparation. This role is vital for maintaining our reputation for excellent service and delicious meals.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in a culinary role is an asset.
- Fast food outlet or concession setting.
- Willingness to relocate and travel as required.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety practices.
- Order supplies and manage inventory of food and equipment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain efficient operations.
- Organize buffets and banquets as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
- Recruit and hire kitchen staff to support operations.
- Manage overall kitchen operations to ensure smooth service.
- Attention to detail in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Dependable and flexible with a strong sense of initiative.
- Organized and reliable team player with good judgment.
